Our wines are made in our new processing plant equipped with the latest technology, respecting the traditions, most of our red wines are still aged in our cellars carved into the loess wall, in small oak barrels, for at least 6 months. Our goal is to make balanced, rich, characteristic terroir wines only made at Szeles-hát.
We make our rosé wines from ripe grapes with the right acidity, which are fermented in cooled steel tanks at 13-15 C for 2-3 weeks, keeping the fresh, fruity characteristics of the grape variety. Depending on the vintage, we also make several types of rosé wine.
We make our only white wine from Welschriesling variety, which we planted at the northernmost point of the Szeles-hát vineyard. It is fermented in a cooled steel tank at 13-15 C for 2-3 weeks and then bottled, retaining its light, fruity flavors.
Our cuvées are destined for the premium segment from selected ingredients, so after their composition they are mostly matured in first-filled 225l oak barrels for at least 12 months. They typically have a serious content, so barrel maturation makes them even more complex, providing an extraordinary experience.
